Back in the late 1800's to early 1900's when they were doing what they could for ballistic testing they were just seeing how many 1/4" lumber boards a round(caliber) could go through. NO ammo was ever meant to wound, that's insane. 32 because it's a VERY common top break pocket pistol of the early 1900's. Also what made me laugh about the NV is that the pistols that shot the same round as a rifle did more damage then the rifles such as the 5.56 pistol did more damage than the service rifle. actually a 40s&w is just a short 10mm(10x25) and. A 45 would have been the service round of the time.

The super weird fictional period of time they chose the "war" at was what seems like some futuristic 50's era. And if it is a 32 s&w long it should do a lot more than a 22LR. So because they are interchangeable in the 32 pistol and the hunting rifle its like about a 85%-90% chance it would have to be a 32 long.

Almost every rifle made in 32 caliber would ony exept 32 s&w long bullets. Now if they stated wether or not it was a 32 s&w(short) or a 32 s&w Long would make a HUGE differance when comparing the 22LR the have in NV. Do a simple wikipidia search of the 32 S&w and 32 s&w long. Originally posted by John Nagant:Its a 32 s&w (short bullet or it could be a 32 s&w long it dosnt say). Otherwise unarmered enemys should take heavy damage.Īnd Im not against adding a 38 pistol! But not a 38 special, a 38 s&w. Penatration of armor should all be about the caliber. And if it is a 32 s&w long it should do a lot more than a 22LR.Īnd yes I am also looking for all guns to be a 1 shot headshot. Its a 32 s&w (short bullet or it could be a 32 s&w long it dosnt say).
